A new semester brings change for students as well as change from some of our favorite on-campus amenities. The Coffee Stop, located in the Atrium of Knutson, will now be open in the evenings on Sundays and will close an hour earlier on weekdays.
Brittany Widseth, a current employee of the stop, claimed that dining services wanted to add Sunday hours for students who get work done in Knutson at those times.
“The coffee stop is a great resource and increased accessibility seemed like a necessity,” Widseth said.
Widseth added that the earlier closing times were due to “slower business within the last hour of service.”
The hours, bound to be more effective and convenient for students, have already been implemented. If students need a quick caffeine fix, especially on a Sunday night during those last moments of studying, the coffee stop is exactly the place to be.
New Coffee Stop Hours:
Monday-Thursday: 7 a.m.-4 p.m.
Friday: 7 a.m.-3 p.m.
Sunday: 5:30-7:30 p.m.
