Easter egg hunt leads students to campus resource centers

Posted on March 28, 2024October 25, 2024 by Desi Kohrs

MOORHEAD — Look high, look low and look everywhere an Easter egg could go. The Office of Student Engagement and Student Development and Campus Life have teamed up to have an Easter egg scavenger hunt the week of March 11-15.

Students can start by scanning the QR code in the glass bulletin board in Knutson Campus Center. The eggs are placed in various areas that have QR codes inside of them that will send students to the next clue. The next egg will have another QR code leading them to the next location and so on. Leading them to a fun prize at the end.

This is not an annual thing done every year, Communication and Student Engagement Specialist Ro Contreras said.

“It’s just a fun thing I thought about to try to get our students more involved and a fun break from studying,” Contreras said.

The egg hunt was designed for students to follow the prompts to find the different offices on campus that can help support them such as the Center for Student Success and Student Development and Campus Life office.

“The whole point was to help students learn where they can get resources as well as encourage them to follow us on our socials,”  Contreras said.
