The Concordian wins 12 awards

The Concordian won 12 awards for reporting and writing, including four first-place honors, in a college journalism contest sponsored by North Dakota Professional Communicators. The awards were announced at the organization’s annual convention in Grand Forks, N.D., April 8.

Winners are:

• Julie Guggemos, first, news writing; second, section edited by entrant.
• Adam Voge, first, personality profile; third, news writing and publication edited by entrant; honorable mention, feature story.
• Marisa Paulson, first, editorial; first, section edited by entrant; second, feature story.
• Kelsy Johnson, second, news writing.
• Katie Campbell, third, feature story; honorable mention, news writing.
