Uniting Cobbers kernel by kernel: The 2024 Homecoming lineup  

MOORHEAD—With the Concordia Homecoming Game this weekend, Cobbers have a multitude of events that they can attend free of charge.   

Cobbers Got Talent: At 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, head over to the Centrum to cheer on your peers as they sing, dance and show off a variety of talents.   

Bonfire and Fireworks: Later that night, head over to behind the Jake Christiansen Stadium at 8:30 p.m. for a bonfire and a fireworks show. Popcorn will be provided.   

Homecoming Chapel: A special chapel service will be held at 9:50 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27 in the Centrum. Mikayla Ouren, assistant director of alumni relations, will deliver the message, and the Concordia Chapel Choir will provide music.   

Bunco: Cobbers can show off their dice skills at 7 p.m. in the Barry Auditorium with the annual game of Cobber Bunco. There will be snacks provided, as well as prize baskets for high scorers.   

Homecoming Parade: At 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, various organizations  will march down 8th Street to support on the Concordia football team.   

Cobber Football Game: Following the parade, the Concordia football team will face St. Scholastica at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28 at the Jack Christiansen Stadium. 

The Johnny Holm Band: Known as the “Facilitator of Fun”, The Johnny Holm Band will be performing in the Olson Forum at 9:30 p.m. following the Football game. The theme is 70’s inspired, so break out the bell bottoms! Students must bring their Concordia student ID for admission. Doors close at 11 p.m.  

All Campus Worship: On Sunday, Sept. 29, join Campus Ministry in Memorial Auditorium at 10:00 a.m. for an all-campus worship. Music will be provided by both the Concordia Choir and the Concordia Symphonic Band. The message will be led by Pastor Kim Adams. Holy Communion will be served.
